It’s time for the Top Turkey contest!

Screen Shot 2013-11-02 at 9.25.36 AMGOBBLE! GOBBLE!!

It’s time for the 2014 Top Turkey Contest!

What does that mean?

PTA invites students to write a paragraph detailing why their teacher should be the Top Turkey Teacher. PTA will give these paragraphs to the teachers.

Once your student has written a paragraph, he or she can purchase turkey features for $1 each. Buy as many feathers as you like beginning the morning of Tuesday, November 4th until Tuesday, November 18th. The winning grade level will be the grade with the most turkey feathers purchased. That grade level will receive special prizes and a party. (You only need to write one paragraph, but you can buy as many feathers as you like.)

Proceeds of this fun-raiser will go to maintain and support PTA programming such as free school social events, a wide array of technology for the classrooms, field trips and other special projects and programs.
